A process that is carried out at the cellular level that results in the assembly, arrangement of constituent parts, or disassembly of an imaginal disc-derived wing hair. A wing hair is an actin-rich, polarized, non-sensory apical projection that protrudes from each of the approximately 30,000 wing epithelial cells. An example of this is found in Drosophila melanogaster. [ GOC:mtg_sensu http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/11064425 http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/12540853 ]
